Yes, natural products can vary in color. This is completely normal.

We guarantee our Mimos customers that we only offer safe rawhide chew products. The rawhide used in Mimos chew products is carefully selected and thoroughly cleaned using a safe amount of hydrogen peroxide to eliminate bacteria. This process ensures a clean product without unpleasant odor or stickiness during chewing. The hydrogen peroxide fully breaks down during washing into water (H₂O) and oxygen (O₂), meaning no residue remains in the final product.

There are sometimes negative stories circulating about rawhide chews. We can only speak for ourselves and state that we absolutely do not sell bleached products. For us, it starts at the production stage, where only the best and purest subcutaneous connective tissue is selected to produce our chew products. Unfortunately, there are known practices in the market where harsh chemicals are used to give lower-quality raw materials the same “clean” appearance. This is done to keep costs as low as possible. Mimos does not participate in these practices. As a result, our rawhide products may vary in color — and this should be seen as a positive sign of a natural product.
